SENSORS

GardenMasters can help you conserve water on your landscaping by installing many of the  water saving devices shown below.

Water saving devices available from Hunter, Toro, Irritrol, and RainBird.  Rain sensors are a must on any irrigation system, after all, who wants to have their sprinklers running while it's raining out?

Hunter Wireless Rain  Sensor

If the thought of running wires from a controller has kept you from adding rain sensors to your systems, now there's a hasslefree alternative.

The Hunter Wireless Rain-Clik attaches quickly and easily simply install the receiver unit next to your irrigation controller, then install the transmitter anywhere that the device can receive representative rainfall.

The unique Quick Response feature allows the product to shut off immediately when it starts to rain. And, unlike its competition, Hunter's sophisticated sensing mechanism cannot be fouled by debris, giving the Wireless Rain-Clik accurate operation.

Hunter Solar Sync

The Solar-Sync is a sensor system that, when connected to your Hunter controller, will automatically adjust your controller watering based upon changes in local climate conditions.  The Solar-Sync utilizes a solar and teperature sensor to measure on-site weather conditions used to determine evapotransporation (ET), or the rate at which plants and turf use water.

In addition, the Solar-Sync sensor includes a Hunter Rain Click and Freeze Clik sensor that will shut down your irrigation system when it rains and/or during freezing conditions.

Irritrol Climat Logic

The system monitors weather data, transmits them to the module and then alters the controller’s program based on the weather. As for compatibility, the Climate Logic weather system works with the Rain Dial®-R, the Total Control®-R, KwikDial® and a new generation of MC-E commercial controllers.

Hunter Flow-Clik

A ruptured pipe or broken sprinkler left undetected can result in substantial damage. Plants and ground cover can be flooded, slopes can be eroded, and hundreds of gallons of water can be wasted. Hunter created the Flow-Clik flow sensor to guard against these damages in the event of a rupture. The Flow-Clik can be programmed at a specified level of flow. It will shut down irrigation if it detects a flow rate higher than the programmed limit. Therefore, the amount of water loss and system damage is substantially reduced in the event of high external leakage.

Hunter Soil-Clik

The Soil-Clik simplifies soil moisture sensing. The Soil-Clik probe uses proven technology to measure moisture within the root zone. When the probe senses that the soil has reached its desired moisture level, it will shut down irrigation, preventing water waste.

Toro - Rain Sensor

For all residential applications, the wireless RainSensor automatically shuts off water when it rains.  For varying climates, RainSensor models include sensors for not only rain, but freeze as well.

Toro - Flow Control

When a sprinkler breaks or a pipe ruptures, you want to know about it. Flow sensors are yet another cost effective water-savings tool from Toro. The potted electronics are designed for valve box or underground installations making them ideal for virtually any residential or commercial application

Toro - Soil Sensor

Soil Sensor reduces water waste by continuously measuring moisture levels in the soil and determining when to allow your controller to water, maximizing the efficiency of your irrigation system. Communication between the sensor probe and receiver is completely wireless, so installation is quick and easy with no digging required.
